Two graduate schools of theology, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (United Methodist) at 2121 Sheridan Road and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary (Episcopal) at 2122 Sheridan Road, are located in the midst of the Northwestern University campus. Their presence enhances our religious life; the University community is welcome to participate in lectures and worship services throughout the year, and the libraries of both institutions are available to Northwestern students.

Howes Chapel, on the grounds of Garrett Seminary, has an 8:15 a.m. Communion service each Wednesday. Worship services also are held at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the seminary's main chapel.

The Chapel of St. John the Divine is at Seabury-Western Seminary, with its entrance at 600 Haven St. The Episcopal Campus Ministry holds its 5:00 p.m. Sunday Eucharist in the chapel.
