The Center for Catalysis and Surface Science continues to perform as one of the premier institutes for catalysis in the world. Sponsorship by the Department of Energy for the Institute for Catalysis in Energy Processes (ICEP) is now in its fifth year.

This research is characterized by elegant and detailed investigations of the synthesis, catalytic properties, and atomic structure of catalytic systems. Center faculty participants have been recognized by national and international awards. All in all the past year has been exciting and productive.

The primary objective of this year’s Meeting is to highlight the Center's outstanding research activities. The program includes oral presentations, delivered by the Center's graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, lunch and a poster session.

The Meeting will conclude with a business meeting and private dinner for Center faculty and Industrial Affiliates.
