The Occupational Outlook Handbook: The "bible" of occupations, created by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Gives detailed information on skills, training, and future of hundreds of careers and industries:

 

Wetfeet: Contains several industry and career profiles outlining such things as "A Day in the Life", average pay, training/education requirements.

O*Net On Line: Also created by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Has skills search, to find which occupations match skills desired.

Princeton Review: Fun and informative major and career profiles. Click on a major, then to the left of screen, click on "careers"
