UCS sponsors several career fairs and events throughout the year, and many other offices and groups on campus also host events for employers to reach more specialized student and alumni populations. UCS Sponsored Career Fairs

Fall Job & Internship Fair

This fair is open to all NU students and alumni and it represents all career fields except for engineering and technology. Many of the attending employers will be participating in on-campus recruiting activity in the fall quarter. To register for this event, please contact Jackie Williams, Special Events Coordinator.

Winter Job & Internship Fair

Offered in Winter Quarter, this career fair connects NU students and alumni to employers in all industries looking to hire full-time positions and internships. Many employers will host on-campus interviews for internships in the weeks following this fair. To register for this event please contact Jackie Williams, Special Events Coordinator.

New York Recruiting Day

The New York Recruiting Day Program is for graduating Seniors only. The purpose of the program is to expand interview opportunities for graduating Seniors who are interested in the Communication fields of advertising, marketing, publishing, public relations, legal assistant or media. If your organization is headquartered or has an office in New York City this is an excellent way to cut travel costs by hosting students for interviews right at your office. Participating universities are Northwestern University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC), Smith College, and University of Virginia. Public Service Career Expo

Formerly called the Martin Luther King Public Interest Job & Internship Fair, which was traditionally held in January, this fair is now held in Spring Quarter and is open to all NU undergraduate and graduate students and it focuses on the non-profit, education, and government career fields. Employers can recruit for full-time, internship, and volunteer opportunities. To register for this event, please contact Brett Boettcher, Associate Director for Employment Specialists.

This Spring Quarter career fair is sponsored by Medill Career Services and the School of Communication EPICS office and offers NU students the chance to network with employers from the marketing, media, public relations, advertising, journalism and communications industries.
