Larry provides career advising to students in the McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science and the science fields in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.  He works with students from the start of their time at Northwestern through graduation, helping them connect their Northwestern experience to professional opportunities. In addition to guiding students through the process of applying to jobs, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities, Larry collaborates with WCAS and McCormick staff, faculty and alumni to develop tailored services and programming.

Larry earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bradley University and his Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Larry is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois and has been working in career services for four years. He is actively involved in several professional organizations including the Midwest Association for Colleges and Employers (Midwest ACE), National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE) and Hire Big Ten Plus Consortium through professional presentations and committee work.

In his spare time, Larry can be found volunteering at his local church and local non-profits that focus on social justice-related issues. For leisure, he also enjoys movies, street festivals, and dining out in Chicago.

His advice for students: Explore your interests, gather information, narrow down your interests, and make connections as these activities help focus your job search.
