Meet the Career Ambassadors
Danny Kim, Senior Career Ambassador
My name is Danny and I'm a junior majoring in Economics and Psychology from Indianapolis, Indiana. Some of the best things I've found offered by UCS for students are CareerCat and the many different fairs throughout the year. I joined the Career Ambassador team to better learn how to build resumes and apply for internships in order to helpout my peers and act as a resource. I enjoy eating all sorts of foods at all kinds of places and playing/watching most sports especially football with the Colts.
Sue Kim, Outreach Coordinator
My name is Sue and I'm a junior majoring in Economics and Psychology. Along with being a Career Ambassador, I work as the Academic Affairs Chair for my business-themed residential college and participate in the campusCATALYST program as a Community Analyst. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, watching Friends, and going to the beach. As a Career Ambassador, I look forward to assisting students with everything from revising resumes to seeking internships and career planning. I hope to help other students become aware and take advantage of all the wonderful resources available through UCS.
Danbee Chon
My name is Danbee, and I'm a sophomore majoring in Chemistry. Some of my post grad plans (for now) include grad or medical school, or entering the workforce. I decided to become a Career Ambassador after realizing how much I enjoyed helping others with researching internships, editing resumes, and of course, finding a job! My favorite part of the UCS is most definitely the online resources they offer, as well as the most friendly staff I have ever worked with. I really feel like this could be my second home on campus. Outside my work here, you can probably find me chilling with local kids at the YMCA as a Soar Project mentor, playing the piano, or perusing through the latest fashion magazines. I am currently trying to get into running, and plan on training for a 5k!
Katie Rose Mennemeier
My name is Katie Rose and I’m a senior pursuing a degree in Communication Studies with minors in Economics and Sociology. I became a Career Ambassador to help Northwestern students with the daunting task of finding a job or an internship, so reach out to me if you have any questions! Aside from working at UCS as a Career Ambassador, I serve as Zeta Tau Alpha’s Director of Academic Achievement and as Director of Community Outreach for Lambda Pi Eta. I am also a member of the Catholic Scholars program and a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha. Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in consulting or communications.
Linda Yang
My name is Linda and I'm a WCAS junior majoring in Economics and minoring in Mathematics. Working with UCS and developing myself as a Career Ambassador for my peers has been an incredibly rewarding experience; I'm so excited to share with others all the resources UCS has to offer because I can definitely relate to how stressful the career development process can be! Some of my favorite online resources include Wetfeet and Vault for industry exploration - total hidden gems. In my free time, some of my hobbies include baking, knitting, and various kinds of dance. I'm also an avid world traveler, love immersing myself in different cultures and trying new foods, and have a never-ending list of places I want to visit!
Sathwik Nandamuri
My name is Sathwik and I’m a junior in WCAS pursing a degree in economics and aspiring to become a doctor. I became a Career Ambassador to assist students with the daunting process of finding an internship or job after graduation. I enjoy being a Carrera Ambassador because it’s a great opportunity to meet and interact with a wide variety of students At Northwestern. I’m involved with Project RISHI, Insight Group, and Project SOAR, and the Northwestern Squash team. In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, soccer, tennis, basketball, basically any type of sport, spending time with friends, eating good food, and watching movies.
