Resources for Post Docs

At this time, University Career Services is unable to provide individual appointments or access to career fairs for post-doctoral researchers at Northwestern. For more information about services offered to post docs through Northwestern, contact the Office of Post Doctoral Affairs in The Graduate School.

We recommend that post docs contact their graduate or undergraduate institutions for career guidance and resources—most institutions offer comprehensive career services for their alumni.

UCS Programs and Workshops

Post docs can attend career-related programming hosted by UCS that is open to the entire campus community.

Access to CareerCat

CareerCat is the job and internship database for Northwestern undergraduates, graduate students and alumni. Occasionally, employers will allow post docs to be considered for job and internship opportunities.  To obtain a login to CareerCat, email UCS at careerservices@northwestern.edu from your northwestern.edu email address to request access.  Note: employers in CareerCat set their own criteria for reviewing candidates and you will be unable to apply for positions that are restricted to Northwestern students.
