Campus Coalition on Sexual Violence

The Campus Coalition on Sexual Violence (CCSV), formed in May 2010, is charged by the Vice President of Student Affairs with assessing and improving campus policies, prevention programs and response services dealing with sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking. The CCSV delivers an annual report to the VPSA with recommendations for change.

The CCSV has more than 60 members from diverse student groups, campus departments and community agencies and is coordinated by staff from CARE. Key campus partners include the Women's Center, the Office of Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution, University Police, New Student and Family Programs, and the University Sexual Harassment Prevention Office.

The CCSV meets once a month during the fall, winter and spring quarters. During Fall Quarter 2014, meetings will be held on the following Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm in room 3-220 of the NU Health Service/Searle Hall, 633 Emerson Street: October 7, November 4, and December 2.

In 2011, the CCSV received a federal grant from the US Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women to improve sexual violence prevention and response services on campus.
