Class
Search |
This

which you wish to register. One tip is that the search
is case sensitive. |
Class
Number |
A
five digit number that identifies a class section as
a distinct course offering. Class numbers are assigned
to every class section (both enrollment and related
class sections) offered in a term, and are found in
the Schedule of Classes. Class numbers are used to register
for classes. |
Department
Consent |
This
means a class is setup on permission. You need to contact
the department and if you are granted permission to
enroll in the class, they will give you a permission
number. Then you can return to CAESAR and enroll in
the class using the permission number. |
Enrollment
Appointment |
The
time which a student has been assigned to be able to
enroll in classes. Also known as a registration time
or appointment time. |
Grading
Basis |
The
grading basis of a class. It could be graded (ABC/NC),
pass/no pass (P/N), or satisfactory/not satisfactory
(SUS). Some classes allow students the option of selecting
their grading basis. |
Permission
Number |
The
number a student obtains from a department that is used
to allow a student to enroll in a class that is either
on permission or full. A permission number can only
be used once. |
Related
Classes |
Refers

lecture. |
Retrieve

of the process by which the enrollment engine selects
the class in order to create an enrollment request.
|

as Winter 2000 for undergraduate on a quarter basis
or Spring 2000 for Law or University College on a semester
basis. |
