Explanation

1

Not Eligible to Enroll for Term.

You have not been activated to enroll for this term. Verify that you are attempting to enroll for the correct term (you may need to check that your user preferences are set to the correct term). If you are still having a problem, please contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.

3
Not Enrolled in Class, Drop Not Processed.
The requested drop transaction was not processed. No enrollment records for the specified class for this term were found. Verify the class number and term, and resubmit.

4

Already In Drop Status.

Your requested drop transaction was not processed. You were already dropped from the class. Double-check your enrollment status for the class on your schedule.

5

Already Enrolled in Class, Add Not Processed.

Your enrollment request was not processed because you are already in this class. If you were trying to change an attribute of the class (for example, if you were trying to switch the grading basis to P/N), please see the Registrar's Office. If this is still during open enrollment, you could drop the class first and then re-add it with the desired attribute, but we do not recommend doing so at this time.

7

Not Enrolled, Class 12345 Full

The class is full or the lab or discussion section that you chose is full. If all of the sections that you selected appear to have open seats, they may be reserved for majors. Choose another class or section, or consult with the department that owns the class.

11

Class Table In Use, Not Available For Drop Request

The class table is being used by another system resource and is not available for the specified class.  The drop request was not processed. Please contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.

13

Unable to Drop class, will drop below required minimum units for enrollment.

Once the term is started, you cannot drop your last class without officially withdrawing for the term. If you are switching classes, add the class you are switching to first and then drop this class. If you still are having difficulty, or if you really do want to withdraw from the term, please contact the Registrar's Office.

17

Time Scheduling Conflict, Student Not Enrolled In Class

You have tried to enroll in a class that meets at the same time, or part of the same time, as a class that you are already enrolled in. Consequently this add transaction wasn't successful. You can drop the first class and enroll in the second class, or if you think the class is incorrectly scheduled, contact the department that owns the class or the Registrar's Office. Please note that students need written permission from the instructors or departments of both classes to take two classes that meet at overlapping times, and that such an add request must be completed at the Registrar's Office.

18

Requisites Not Met For Class, Not Enrolled

You have not met the requirements to enroll in the specified class. If you believe this is incorrect, please see your department for assistance.   If you are an undergraduate trying to register during departmental pre-registration for majors, you may get this error if you are not identified as a major eligible for the specified class.  Contact the Registrar's Office to confirm that your declared major has been recorded and that the class is eligible for pre-registration.

20

Class Taken Before, Repeat Not Allowed

You are attempting to enroll in a class that you have already taken which does not allow you to retake the class for credit. Select another class. If you think you have received this message in error, contact the Registrar's Office.

30

Maximum Term Student Unit Load Exceeded

Your add transaction was not processed. Adding this class would put you over the limit of the number of units you are allowed to take for this term. See your Dean to obtain permission for an overload. If you are adding and dropping classes and get this error, *drop* a class before you add to keep below your term unit limit, or use the swap function.

32

Enrollment Is Not Allowed For This Class: It Is Outside the Student's Career of Study

You are already enrolled in the 'To' class of the swap transaction. The swap transaction was not processed. Make sure the 'to' and 'from' fields are filled out correctly.
