Routine management of BIF and maintenance of instruments
is handled by a Ph.D.-level manger. BIF personnel operate and maintain
a variety of instruments used in specimen preparation, image acquisition,
image processing, and output for photonic and electron microscopic imaging.
Consultation with BIF staff on any aspect of a current or proposed
project is provided free of charge. Facility staff members can be contracted
to perform any of the services offered by BIF at a rate of $55.00/hour
(for NU affiliated users).
