All Northwestern business units, schools, and research units are responsible for developing a business continuity plan. In the event of a disaster or other complex event, these plans will be used to help resume business.
The business continuity planning process and its associated documents, including the template below, are to be considered a "living process" that evolves with input and guidance from the Northwestern University community.
Develop a plan
To develop a business continuity plan:
- Download a template and complete your plan. In addition to the guidance provided in the document, Ameya Pawar (email@example.com) is available to provide technical assistance as you prepare your plan.
- Find detailed information for developing a plan for your functional category: administrative unit, research unit, or academic unit.
