Giving Opportunities

As an alumna/us of Northwestern you may have wondered if there are any opportunities to give back to the Asian/Asian American community at Northwestern. Student activism in the 1990's has led to the creation of several giving opportunities in the Asian/Asian American community at Northwestern that will benefit current and future Asian and Asian American students. Alumni may give back to the community by helping:

In addition, alumni may even consider establishing scholarships for students of Asian descent.

For more information on giving opportunities, please contact us or the Office of Alumni Relations and Development.

NU-A5 Alumni Group

In 2001, Asian/Asian American Student Affairs collaborated with the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA) to establish NU-A5, the first group for Asian and Asian American alumni.

Student Group Alumni Networks

Several of our Asian/Asian American student groups are developing their own formal alumni networks. Such groups include the Asian Pacific American Coalition (APAC), Hong Kong Students Association (HKSA), Kaibigan, and Muslim-cultural Students Association (McSA). More information coming soon.

Online Resources

A variety of resources for Northwestern alumni can be found on the website of the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA). Resources include information on clubs, reunions, education and travel opportunities, calendars, directories, and class notes. The NAA also provides alumni with news, surveys, and social opportunities.
