Membership
Who is eligible to participate in AHEAD@NU?
All Northwestern University staff members (full or part time) are eligible to join AHEAD@NU regardless of level. Graduate students participating in assistantships at Northwestern are also welcome.
Events
When are events held?
The Lunch Hour Professional Development Series events will be one hour long and held sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The days and times will vary to maximize people’s varying schedules.
The Special Topic Series events will be held once per quarter in the evening (as they will most likely last longer than one hour). These will all be on a work day.
Involvement
I'd like to participate in AHEAD@NU as a speaker or suggest a speaker, what do I do?
The steering committee is always looking for potential speakers and topics. Please e-mail us at ahead@northwestern.edu with your interest in participation or speaker recommendation. We will meet with you to discuss your area of interest and how it fits with current or upcoming themes.
