Maia joined our Center in July 2007 and provides administrative leadership for the project on "Developing a Needs at the End-of-Life Screening Tool (NEST).  She provides additional adminstrative leadership for the EPEC-Emergency Medicine project and supports the EPEC-Patient Safety Education Project.  In addition, she helps with the Center's publications and IRB coordination.  Maia received her BA from the University of Chicago and her MA from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  Before joining the Center, Maia worked at the University of Chicago Hospitals Cancer Risk Clinic and at Northwestern University in the Cell Biology department. In her spare time, Maia enjoys running, knitting and crossword puzzles.
