Dr. McKoy is the recipient of a Minority Supplement from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) on P30 Grant CA-60553 of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center (RHLCCC), Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is an appointed member of RHLCCC’s Cancer Prevention and Control Division and a member of the Research on Adverse Drug Reactions And Reports (RADAR) Project, which is led by her mentor Dr. Charles L. Bennett. Dr. McKoy’s focus is in the area of geriatric oncology and she has conducted important collaborative research with Dr. Bennett on serious adverse drug reactions and drug-drug interactions in patients living with cancer. Her collaborative manuscripts have been published in such peer-reviewed journals as the New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of Clinical Oncology.
