Jon joined the Buehler Center in April of 2007. He contributes articles to various Center publications and also provides editing for the Patient Safety and EPEC Emergency Medicine curricula. He assists with the core EPEC project as well. Jon earned a BA with high honors from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where he majored in Social Thought and Political Economy. His academic interests include political and critical theory, and continental philosophy. Before moving to Chicago in 2006, he sold used books and worked for a catering company in Portland, Maine. He is also a graduate of the Shelter Institute in Bath, Maine, the state where he grew up.
