Medicare Part D Community Lectures
The Buehler Center on Aging, Health & Society is conducting community lectures on the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit. We are excited about this new initiative, and the lectures have been met with an enthusiastic response. Denys Lau, PhD, and Janice L. Feinberg, PharmD, JD presented information on enrollment, scope, and expected benefits of the new program. Four lectures were given at the Fourth Presbyterian Church and two at Holy Name Cathedral. In total, over 150 individuals attended the lectures and were interested to learn more about the Buehler Center. There are plans to continue the lecture series and expand it to new topic areas, such as caregiver stress or advance care planning.
