Premed/Prehealth Professions Advising

The University Academic Advising Center offers the following advising resources for premedical students.

Information Sessions:
The Academic Advising Center offers information sessions on various aspects of the preparation and application processes for graduate schools in the health professions, as well as weekly drop-in Question and Answer sessions. The workshop schedule is posted on the University Academic Advising Center website.

Individual Advising:
Classes of 2008, 2009 and 2010: Students may set up individual advising appointments by emailing premed-prehealth@northwestern.edu. Students are strongly encouraged to attend an information session appropriate to their level before seeking individual advising.

Class of 2011: Freshmen are required to attend a general information session before they will be able to set up an individual advising appointment. General information sessions will be offered every other week during the Fall quarter, please check the workshop schedule for specific dates and times.

Email Advising: We offer frequent drop-in question and answer sessions during the academic year to address questions which you might normally consider sending via email. Because of the large number of premedical students at Northwestern, we cannot accept questions via email, except for those students who are on foreign study assignments or have graduated.
