Interschool Transfer

If you are thinking about transfering between schools, follow these steps:

1) Adhere to the deadline dates for the interschool transfer process as stated in the academic calendar and the quarterly course schedule.

Spring Quarter 2008

Mon., March 31st	First day to initiate transfer from one school of N.U. to another for Summer Session or Fall Quarter
Wed., April 30th	Last day to submit completed Interschool Transfer applications to the Dean’s Office of proposed school

2) Go to the Office of the Registrar, Rebecca Crown Center, 633 Clark Street, and pick up an Application for Undergraduate Interschool Transfer OR download it here.

3) Complete the Application for Undergraduate Interschool Transfer, print out a copy of your unofficial transcript from CAESAR, and staple the transcript to the interschool transfer application.

4) Get the signature of the Dean or appointed designee from the school in which you are currently enrolled on your Application for Undergraduate Interschool Transfer.

5) Arrange an interview with the Dean or appointed designee of your proposed school. Be sure to take your Application for Undergraduate Interschool Transfer and transcript to this meeting.

6) Leave your Application for Undergraduate Interschool Transfer and transcript with the Dean or appointed designee of your proposed school.

7) You will be informed of the provisional approval or denial of your interschool transfer through a letter that you will receive from the Office of the Registrar

8) Your interschool transfer will officially take effect at the beginning of Summer Session or Fall Quarter 2008.
