Getting from Midway International Airport to the Chicago Campus

By Car

  1. This 14-mile trip will take approximately 25 minutes.
  2. Head north on Cicero Avenue for three-and-a-half miles.
  3. Turn right onto the Stevenson Expressway/1-55 ramp to Chicago. Continue on I-55 North for five miles.
  4. Take the 292A exit for I-90/I-94/Ryan Expressway. Continue on I-90 West/I-94 West for three miles.
  5. Take the 50B exit to merge onto West Ohio Street.
  6. Turn left at North State Street.
  7. Turn right at East Chicago Avenue. The campus is east of North Michigan Avenue and south of Chicago Avenue.

By Public Transit

Subway (the "El")

  1. Take the CTA Orange Line (Loop) train from Midway to the State/Lake stop in Chicago's Loop.
  2. Exit the train and transfer to the northbound Red Line (Howard) train.
  3. Take the Red Line train north to the Chicago stop.
  4. Walk east on Chicago Avenue about half-a-mile until you reach North Michigan Avenue. Refer to the campus maps to find specific locations.
