Tech Tuesday

What are Tech Tuesdays?

Northwestern offers several assistive technology options for students with disabilities. These tools, including Read&Write Gold, Kurzweil 3000, Echo Smart Pen, Sonocent Audio Notetaker among others can help with reading, writing, studying, note taking, computer access, etc. Tech Tuesdays offer an opportunity to learn about tools that you might not be familiar with or to learn more about the functions of a tool that you are already using to help you use it for the maximum benefit. Tech Tuesdays will be held in the ANU Assistive Technology lab each Tuesday during the academic year from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Each Tuesday will focus on a different tool, but drop-ins with questions are welcome as well. Think of this as an opportunity to better understand the technology you are using, have tried, or are interested in trying. No sign up is necessary, just show up with your questions. Any questions, please contact Jim Stachowiak at james.stachowiak@northwestern.edu or 847-491-2960.
