PRIDE Challenge

The CATS Life Skills program is excited to implement a competition called the PRIDE Challenge. It is designed to highlight student-athlete accomplishments in all five Life Skills commitment areas. 

Student-athletes are awarded points in the following categories:

  • Academic excellence,
  • Athletic excellence,
  • Community outreach,
  • Professional development
  • Chipotle Big Games
  • SAAC / PURPLE participation

The points are accumulated over fall, winter, and spring quarters. Learn more about the ways that points are awarded.

Throughout the year, students-athletes receive invitations from Academic Services & Student Development's Facebook group for all events and activities.  The winning team is announced at the end of each academic year.  Click here for current standings.

2012-13 Challenge Winners:

  • 1st Place - Women's Swimming & Diving
  • 2nd Place - Cross Country
  • 3rd Place - Volleyball

2011-12 Challenge Winner: 1st Place - Women's Swimming & Diving
2010-11 Challenge Winner: 1st Place - Women's Golf
2009-10 Challenge Winner: 1st Place - Cross Country
