Employee of the Year Celebrated

Staff Service Recognition Luncheon features outstanding and long-serving employees

EVANSTON, Ill. --- Lucy Millman, assistant director of the Harvey Kapnick Business Institutions Program in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, was recognized as the 2011 Employee of the Year at the 34th annual Staff Service Recognition Luncheon at the Mid-America Club in Chicago.

Millman was among the exceptional staff members recognized at the May 10 luncheon, and employees who have worked at Northwestern for more than 20 years also were celebrated.

Finalists for the Employee of the Year Award include Sarah Muir Ferrer, Seletta Nichols, Renee Redd, Margaret Schott, Carol Smith and David Summerhays.

The Staff Service Recognition Luncheon was organized by consulting services of the Department of Human Resources with assistance from the Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council.
