Court Strikes Down Insurance Mandate


Law professor says the ruling is sound

CHICAGO --- A federal court judge in Virginia has struck down a provision of healthcare reform legislation passed by Congress earlier this year that mandates all Americans carry health insurance starting in 2014. In this audio commentary, Eugene Kontorovich, associate professor of law at Northwestern University, discusses the legal principles behind the ruling and where the case may go from here.
