Time flies when you're living in a museum.

In the video above, Kate McGroarty describes the unique experience of spending a month living in Chicago's Museum of Science and Indsutry. Selected from a pool of more than 1,500 applicants, the 2008 Northwestern University School of Communication graduate moved into the museum Oct. 20 and spent the next 30 days exploring the museum's exhibits, interacting with museum visitors and reporting on her activities via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and a blog on the museum's website. McGroarty discusses how her Northwestern education prepared her for this unique experience and offers a tour of the glass cube inside the museum that served as her office.
