Northwestern's Dr. John Kessler is optimstic the issue can be resolved quickly

CHICAGO --- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it will appeal a federal judge’s temporary injunction on President Obama’s 2009 executive order easing restrictions on government funding of human embryonic stem cell research. In this audio commentary, Dr. John Kessler, chair of neurology and professor of stem cell biology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, discusses the ruling's impact on the research community and the future and promise of embryonic stem cell research.
