College basketball tournaments provide emotional outlet after a long winter

CHICAGO --- This weekend (Mar. 12-14), many college basketball conferences are holding their annual tournaments as a prelude to the start of the NCAA Tournament next week. In this audio commentary, Jenny Conviser, sports psychologist and assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, discusses the cultural significance of "March Madness" and why college basketball resonates with so many.
