EVANSTON, Ill. --- In the past few months, earthquakes have rattled Haiti, Chile, Turkey, California and even suburban Chicago garnering lots of media attention. In this audio Q&A, Seth Stein, William Deering Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Northwestern University, answers some basic questions about the recent earthquakes and earthquake preparedness.
