Google Plays Hardball With Chinese Government


The company says it may stop doing business in the world's largest country

Google is standing by its threat to shut down operations in China after what it says were attempts by the Chinese government to hack into e-mail accounts of human rights activists hosted on the company’s G-Mail servers. Victor Shih, assistant professor of political science at Northwestern University, discusses how the Chinese government may react to Google's threats.
