By Brendan Cosgrove

EVANSTON, Ill. --- Show your support for Northwestern's men's basketball team on national television as the Big Ten Network's series "Hoops on Campus" comes to Evanston! The network is looking for the University's best student basketball players who don't play on the team to participate in a slam dunk and hoops skills contest. Open try-outs will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 7:00 p.m. at SPAC. The contest will take place on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at SPAC. Even if you don't participate in the contest, put on some purple and bring your friends to show your school spirit for the live nationally televised broadcast!
