States Seek Court Action on Carp

The United States Supreme Court will soon take up a lawsuit filed by Michigan and other states seeking to keep Asian carp out of the Great Lakes by closing off an Illinois canal leading into Lake Michigan. The states claim that the invasive fish would destroy the fishing industry on the lakes. David Dana, professor of law at Northwestern University, discusses the lawsuit and possible actions the court may take.
