Friday, January 8, 2010 marks what would have been Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday. Despite having been dead for more than a quarter century, "The King” and his music continue to be widely popular. Bernard Beck, associate professor emeritus of sociology, discusses the cutural phenomenon that is Elvis.
