Big Ten Network Airs Scenes from Waa-Mu

Dances, sketches based on tales of princesses and Curious George

Northwestern programming on the Big Ten Network is highlighted in September by scenes from "One for the Books." The University's 78th edition of the Waa-Mu show, "One for the Books" featured original songs, dances and comedy sketches based on the timeless tales of princesses, the adventures of Curious George, the trials of Holden Caulfield, and the poetry of e.e. cummings and Walt Whitman. See a program of selected clips this month at 3 a.m., 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sept. 16, and at 3 p.m. on Sept. 30.

Other shows airing this month include:

- Evans Scholars, A Long Walk to College, 3 p.m. Sept. 23

- A Capella All the Time, 3:30 p.m. Sept. 23

- They Call It Nano U, 3 a.m. Sept. 23

- Dance Marathon 2008, 9 a.m. Sept. 30

- Concerto for Piano, D Major: Maurice Ravel, 9:30 a.m. Sept. 30

- Handel's Joshua, 3 a.m. Sept. 30

All showtimes are Central Standard Time.
