As Housing Market Suffers, More Homeowners Strategically Default On Mortgages

EVANSTON, Ill. --- New research conducted in part by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management indicates a number of homeowners are opting to strategically default on their mortgages. Paola Sapienza, associate professor of finance at Northwestern, discusses the concept.
