EVANSTON, Ill. --- The Northwestern University Dance Program seniors will present "Footprints," a concert to celebrate the culmination of the Class of 2008's dance studies.

Performances of the second annual spring dance concert will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 22; 8 p.m. Friday, May 23; 8 p.m. Saturday, May 24; and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25, in the Ballroom of the Marjorie Ward Marshall Dance Center, 10 Arts Circle Drive, on Northwestern University's Evanston campus. The concert is open to the public.

Each performance will include a wide range of dance styles and forms and feature the Dance Program's Class of 2008 as performers and choreographers.

"Footprints" will feature a premiere by choreographer Jan Bartoszek of Hedwig Dances, created specifically for Northwestern's senior dance majors.

The Dance Program will host a reception following the Friday, May 23 evening performance only. The public is invited to join the senior dance class and the Dance Program faculty of Northwestern's theatre department as these talented young artists prepare to enter the professional dance community.

Single tickets are $8 for the general public and $4 for students with IDs. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-seated basis. Tickets will be sold through Northwestern University's Theatre and Interpretation Center box office and can be purchased by calling (847) 491-7282.
