The two-day conference will explore ways to end cycles of violence and create room for new and healthy experiences of love. Psychologist Carol Gilligan and other experts will examine the many factors that impact love and connection in women’s lives. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Admission ranges from $175 to $345. During this interactive presentation, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the effects of race and class divisions in the United States. The massive income and wealth shifts of the past 25 years and the power shifts and rule changes fueling this inequality also will be explored.

Evanston Staff Holiday Luncheon, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, Women’s Center, Evanston campus.
