Bienen to Give State of University Address Feb. 9

University President Henry S. Bienen’s annual State of the University Address begins at 9 a.m. Feb. 9.

His speech on the progress and challenges of the University over the last year and on future goals will be delivered in Thorne Auditorium in the Arthur Rubloff Building on the Chicago campus.

The address and subsequent question and answer session can be seen in a live webcast in the Forum in the McCormick Tribune Center on the Evanston campus.

Individuals can also view the speech from their computer using Real Player software, going to the University's home page (www.northwestern.edu) and clicking on the “State of the University” banner on the right side of the page.

The State of the University address is sponsored by the Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC) and the Office of the President.
